Lots of 70's and 80's pickups disappearing -Fords preferred. State patrol thinks the majority wind up in Mexico.

Nothing up here worth stealing. And anyway, the local crackheads are too far gone to have any idea how to even go about stealing a car.

Wink

There is a site called Baitcar.com. It ia a program that was started to curb car thefts and is working. They have cars planted in areas where the thefts are high. The cars have hidden cameras and kill switches for the police to kill the car so the theives cannot get far.
The program is working and most of the theives are Meth heads stealing them to sell to guys who strip parts of. If you watch these videos, they can be scary. They got one where the guy is so stoned and driving a stolen truck at 144khm. Trying to shoot a handgun that is jammed. He crashes into cars and keeps going. The police did not use the kill switch for they thought at that high speed it would be dangerous for the truck powersteering would be gone and brkaes. They since changed that. They have another one getting caught and he knows it and pulls out his pipe and to one more high before they haul his *** away. Another where the guy eats his boogers to keep the high going.
So maybe what you need to do is put a bug in your local politians ear about this program and check into it.
