Hey, high beams only went out on my '94 ranger at 4:30 this morning on my way to work. I know that they are the 9007 bulbs, but i wanted something brighter without mounting auxillary lamps. Is there any bulb that has a higher output?
Thanks
If you have DRL's, your module may have went out, or there may be something wrong with the dimmer switch. It's unusual for them to both go out at once.
As for brighter lights, I think I would try the re-wire and relay trick described in the tech articles of this site. You can use the bulbs you have, but it will send more voltage to them, making them brighter.
Don't have drl, and it's not the wiring
getting power and everything.
I know it's the bulbs, because the left side went first, and then the right 10 mins later. I just wondered if there were better replacement bulbs for this vehicle.
