Check Engine Light?
"05 with 6600 miles and my check engine light came on at start up yesterday. Is this common? I hate to have to go without my truck for a day just for a check engine light.

I have a 05 also. My check engine light came on at 2450. The local dealer couldn't get me in for a week because they had 15 PSD ahead of mine. The day before I was due to take it in and 250 miles later, the light went out so I canceled my appointment.

Because light went out doesn't mean problem corrected itself. the light goes out after several key on cycles, but the code is retained in memory. Make that appointment, these trucks don't have self healing properties.
