Where is the the front 4X4 sensor?

I did find the rear one, but I didn't see the "front" one. I looked on a search and didn't see it's location posted. I know it's on the transfer case, but not sure where. Is it behind the little electric motor on the rear of the trans case? I thought I'd ask before taking it off.
Thank you for any help
Matt

What is it that you are trying to do?

Find the wires that go into your transfer case. One of those will be to send power to the indicator relay.

the 4X4 light has been flashing and I've read here where it's one of those two sensors (probably). I just haven't been able to track down the "front" one. Why do they call it front if its on the back of the transfer case?
