Sept. Chapter meet.
Wanted to see if anyone was interested in doing another meet. Lets try Saturday September 17. Location and time still to be determined. Lets hear ideas from everyone so we can get as many people involved as possible.

Sounds good, I wont be there I have to work a 24 hr shift that day. Not sure how many free days I wil have in sept. Class starts monday after Labor Day and I have to do trading to get off. Plus we are down 3 EMT's now so overtime is there. At leas6t I have a computer at work to still check in and keep up on things.

It was said at the last St. Louis area meet that some might be willing to meet in Columbia. If this would help attendance let us know. I would need someone to find a good place to meet out there since I'm not familiar with the area. Would need a place easy to find and probably close to main highway. Any suggestions our more than welcome.

There are several place near 70 in columbia. I will check some out and post. It does not matter to me where we meet I will try to make it to the meeting if I am not working. Also guys remeber you can post a local meet in your area and try to get some small group meetings all around the state. Just post the place and time. Once we get some small meets going we can try to get a bigger gathering with a more central locate to the groups.

Jeff had first said he would be willing to come out that way and everyone else agreed. The thought was to get more guy's together. I know some people might be uncomfortable going to hang out with someone they don't know but If we don't get together we won't ever get to know each other. I think the mini-meets are a great idea if anyone wants to have one go for it, and if anyone out of your area can show up even better. I know this will take some time but I think we are moving in the right direction. Let me know if anyone is interested in meeting us out that way if not we will probably do something in the St Louis area.

I do agree we are moving forward and it will only keep moving forward from here on. I'll check on some places this weekend and post them up for you guys. I have to work so I wont make it, but if you do meet in columbia you can stop by the base in Fulton and say HI if you want.

The only other way to get to know people on here is to just generally chat, that means everyoine that is interested needs to participate, no matter how trivial it seems. The more you chat on here, the more comfortable everyone will become with the members meeting face to face. I'm not too shy about meeting other members, been doing it every time I get the chance, whether in my home area or on the rod. I went to OK to pick up a car, met some members down that way that I had never chatted with or anything hardly before that. Met a few in Montana last spring when I was out that way as well, plenty of good people on here as members. Very interesting to meet in my opinion.
