I have a '88 Ford truck tilt colum going into my '54.
Anyone have the wiring diagram/ color code for the Ing. and turn sig. plugs that are on the column.
I've used the search, and can't seem to locate anything.
Mike
I used this to make my grand marquis column work for me https://www.ford-trucks.com/article/...MN_WIRING.html
you could also check the local library they sometimes have car wiring books in the reference part hope this helps
Mike, we don't have too much for truck stuff here at L/M but I did find a 1989 F series EVTM manual that has a couple of diagrams in it that I could fax to you.
your right it is for one with the key on the column i just used the wires for the turn signals and hazards dont forget your horn wire my column had the shifter and a key switch on it i used a ohm meter to figure out which wires to keep and i removed all others dont forget that the brake lights also run thru the rear turn signals!!
Greg,
Thanks for the fax, these should help, All I have to do is figure out the color abbreviations, shouldn't be to hard with the pin locatins that are shown. I check it out tonight.
Thanks alot
Mike
