Im having a problem with my heater core. Some antifreeze is starting to trickle into the passangers floorboard. So I just bought a new one at advance auto for 26 dollars. How do I go about changing it. If I remember correctly, I was reading around and came across a post a few months ago pertaining to some tips on the removal/installation. Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks.
It helps to stand on your head when doing it, I've found. Harrison had to have the brace on the passenger side of the dash undone to allow the dash to move out far enough to drop the heater box assembly to drop down after that, it was about 6 screws and it was out. Harrison doesn't have A/C --- if your ride does, you're in for quite a ride...
There is a tech article about this very thing, toward the bottom of the tech artcle page. It has step by step instructions. Lots of other good articles there too.

That's exactly what Harrison had in him. You're looking at a 60 minute job....30 minutes if you've done it before. Don't forget the 3-4 nuts in the engine compartment...
