clutch issue

I have a 93 F-250 7.3L. Drove fine yesterday until I stopped and shut the truck off. Went back to start back up and the clutch didn't seem right. It's as if there is no tension on it til the last 2-3 inches of travel. It was pretty stiff before though all travel. It engages and disengages just fine. This one has me stumped that this could happen so quickly. I'm thinking slave cylinder, any ideas???

Check the clutch pedal bushing under the dash. Its prone to go bad and cause similar troubles. Its above the throttle....

Maybe firewall flex? That was the problem in my '84 F250, a reinforcing kit fixed the problem.
