need help and suggestions
Im getting this really bad smell coming out of the vents when the ac is running and to me it smell like hot antifreeze. I can even leave the truck along for a day of two(as in not driving it) and the smell is still there filling the whole cab and i don't have any Ideal what could be causing it. someone please give me some ideals. thanks if advance. mark

Run your defroster for a while, then check the windshield (on inside) to see if there is an oily film. Also, the window will sometime fog up for no apparant reason. Check to see if the carpet is getting wet up near the top, and perhaps underneath. It sure sounds like a heater core problem. Also, check the hose connections at the firewall, if one is leaking, it can seep through into the passenger compartment.
I had this smell, but it was on the outside. I drove two years before it leaked enough for me to find, it was the intake in the back. It kept the #4 plug cavity full of water. The repair wasn't too terribly bad, $250.00.

bargod and larrymac, thanks for the info i will check that and see if that is the problem. I hate for somhing like that to go wrong but at least i have an ideal now of what it might be, thank guys. mark
