Driveline lengths
I am wondering if anyone could tell me the difference in the length of the 71 and 76 4x4 front and rear drivelines.I know the 71 has the dana 21 married to the np435 trans. and the 76 has the np205 married to the np435 trans.And I know the tranfer cases are different lengths. I want to install the np205 married to the np435 in my 71 F100 4x4 and I was hoping that if I did it would take up the play or gap in the drivelines when I lift it.

what exactly are you looking for here? not all trucks are gonna have the exact same driveline lengths due to different options and what tranny-t-case was put in. and you will prolly have to have some driveshaft work done
