Ok here is the deal. I have a 1979 F-150Custom and am having the following problem:
We have the below diagram
|--\
\
\---|
The line to the far left is the gas door you open to fill up tank.
Now the rest is the hose and the bottom is the gas tank.
Now, when I fill it up its always peeing as a I fill it up, the tank is brand new its the line along the way. At first I blamed the hole on the inside left (dont know the name)however I think its more then that the hose underneath is wet.
What I want to know is, is this some common thing I need to just replace? Or is this some freak weird thing and I need to take it all apart and look at everything etc; etc;
This software is hard on diagrams or tables. It removes multiple blank spaces in a line, but I can visualize what you probably drew. When the gas tank was replaced one of the hose connections at the top may have been pulled loose or damaged. It will be hard, but you will have to use inspection mirrors and fingers to probe the area for a problem. Those preformed hoses are hard to get so I hope it isn't damaged. Check the [link: motorhaven.autoanything.com|Online Store] again, I checked it but did not see it.
