2006 Excursion?
I just got the new Myford magazine, and I noticed that the Excursion was being advertised as a 2006 model. Anybody know anything about this? I thought 2005 was it for the Ex. It's on page 17, for those interested.

me too.
I don't receive the "MyFord" magazine (although I'm interested to see what's there showing an '06 X) but I've been scouring (Googling) the Web for information on the '06. I'm tempted to get an '05 (discounts go under invoice and under the average selling pice of a used '05!) so I have this itch that just as soon as my check clears, Ford will announce the awesome new '06 with better towing, better off-road, better diesel economy, more power, more torque, 6-spd manual gearbox ... you name it ... : )

Just got my issue too. One hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing.
Even Car & Driver just listed the Ex as "dead".

Ford stopped building 2005 Superdutys and Excursions back in May. All of the trucks built since then have been labeled as 2006 models.
