Daily driver- light to moderate towing- father/daughter project that she will get when 16. Experimental in a way if and when I go with propane.

oh... i remember asking now about propane setups. Hey that's cool, wish I'd a had a dad like you to set me up with a labor of love like your truck must be.

crawlfish, on the flexplate thing, there is no difference between the 351M and the 400 flex or flywheel. the dampers are different because of the differences of the energy the damper is absorbing from the two different engines.

Got ya, and once again thanks for the reply. Good thing too, since the 400 didn't have one when I had it shipped to me.

I would spend the $$ to balance it- cost about $200 typically. It makes sure everything is right. They typically take the crank, pistons, harmonics and ???
