trans4mer grille guard
i'm want to get a grille guard, and this warn trans4mer is the only one i've found that mounts to the frame, and not to the bumper. but on my truck i mounted tow hooks to the frame thru the bumper....so my question is, would i still be able to mount the grille guard or would the tow hooks be in the way? does anybody have one of these guards, or have a spec sheet for it? i have a 97 250 HD. thanx

i have a trans4mer on my ranger, the bottom of the frame rails is still visable, may be possible to still have tow hooks on the bottom of the frame. it uses side plates on either side of the frame (at least in my application) to mount it with.

my tow hooks are mounted on the insides of the frame rail and angled inward...they are tow hoops from a super duty, so if the grille guard mounts to the outside of the frame, i would imagine i'd be fine.
