so what failed? i would pull it find the cause of failure and meausre the crank and rods to see if any machine work is needed.

The oil pickup was the cause, too much nastyness in there, but I dont know what its from. I will be throwing in all new bearing and will check everything for sure. I hate dealing with cam bearings

If you DONT change the cam bearings, you WILL regret not doing it. It will lead to loosing oil pressure AGAIN. and eventually another rebuild.......Just do the deed, and do it right.
