Code 1131

Hey guys,

Anyone know what a code 1131 is in a '96 F150 4x4, 351, auto? The mechanic that found this code didn't know what it meant? Any ideas? Whatever it is, it triggered the "check engine" light.

My book doesn't even show codes with that high a number, mine stop at 998. I wonder if your mechanic read the code correctly. Do you know what kind of scanner he used?

TigerDan - it was a Mac tools scanner - i think an older one, was kinda large for a handheld unit.

fordperf300 - I know what quite a few of the acronyms are for vehicles but excuse my ignorance of "EVP". What is that?
