OBDII scanners
wld like to purchase an OBDII scanner for my 2002 F 150 (4.5L v8)
I see many posed on EBAY in the $45-$200 rnage: the more expensive ones give "chassis dyno" readings
some listed brands include:
. TekMate $99
. Innova 3100 $45
. OBDIIOBD2 $45
. AutoEnginuity..gives dyno readings and is used with a notebook computer..$200
would these be satisfactory for a "backyard" technician?
What other brands would u recommend? Prices? suppliers?

I've heard a lot of people say they like their ScanGauge. $129. I don't have one, but would like to get one eventually too.

Never had a problem, the software gets updated on a regular basis and it is free.
