F-150 Leaf Spring Code Question
I have a 1995 F-150 4wd XL it needs rear spring shackles and I figure this is the time to get heavier duty springs like my 1990 had. I was looking into f-250 5 leaf springs, little lift, little better hauling. Our local junk yard has them but I need a code (9, A, N, or P) my 150 has a code of (K, or I) both on the sticker, not sure which it is. Anyway, what code should I give the junk yard to get a spring that will fit my shackles? I have to assume the difference might be length, or axle placement.
Any thoughts or help would be greatly appreciated, I am trying to get this done before winter.
