Heater,a/c Function Cable
I'm A Newbie Here So Please Bear With Me.i Have A 85 F250 Xcab And Can't Seem To Find The Cable That Hooks To The Vent,defrost,a/c,floor,control Lever.the Temp Cable Is Hooked Up,but No Selecter Cable.where Does This Cable Hook To?this Is A Great Site With Tons Of Very Usefull Info.thanks For Any And All The Help You Can Give Me.

If your truck has AC, there is only one cable. The vacuum hoses control the function. There is a place on the back of the control unit where it appears another cable should mount, but this is because Ford used the same control unit for AC & non-AC trucks. If you're having problems with the function selector, it's most likely vacuum-related.
