not the blower

not the blower

I have a ford expl 1994 and the blower keeps turning off at random will stay off for different durations of time. replaced the blower moter and wheel did not help.. any advice would be great.

Weak ground connection, bad wire or connector, fuse not all the way in or weak, switch bad. Does it happen at all fan speeds? The speeds may have resistors for each wired in there somewhere or it may help narrow down which wire.

Blower Not Right

It does it on all speeds, taught about changeing the reister but not sure.

Sounds like a bad connection, ground or hot side.

The speed resistor block has a small thermal switch on it. They often go bad. It is usually installed on the engine side of the heater box near the blower motor.
