Weak ground connection, bad wire or connector, fuse not all the way in or weak, switch bad. Does it happen at all fan speeds? The speeds may have resistors for each wired in there somewhere or it may help narrow down which wire.
The speed resistor block has a small thermal switch on it. They often go bad. It is usually installed on the engine side of the heater box near the blower motor.
