Trying to count gears
Fellows I got another question for you I finally went and got that third member. I marked one gear with a small dot of paint then, Unless I counted them wrong there were 12 on the pinion and 40 on the ring. This comes up to 3.33 is this correct or did I miss count. My jegs book only goes down to 3.50 so I am not sure. If so is this gonna be a good gear too. Thanks for all the past help

Hello again fellows I just wanted to let you know I went back out and pulled both axles where I could handle it to get a better count. 39 on ring and 12 on the pinion so that is a 3.25 its not a 3.50 but hey for $50.00 I think I got a good deal. I think it will surely be a step up from the stock 2.75. how much would it cost to change this thing over to a positive trac. Thanks for all the help and replies.
