Engine cranks,no start
97 Ranger 2wd,2.3L- This week after 8 years I changed my battery,battery harness,starter relay,starter/solenoid assembly. The engine would not crank to begin with and then during the repair everything I touched broke. Now everything is in, the engine cranks but no start. I pulled a plug and it smelled of fuel. IT seems I'm getting fuel but no spark.Thanks for the help.

Did you check for spark? Was it running before it stopped cranking or did over cranking kill it? I would check the connections for the harness and ground wires. Also, check your fuses, you may have shorted something during the install.
