Depends on if that classic truck is for show or work.

True that, unfortunately the one I am buying will be used for light work

I don't like spray-on bed liners. May be OK for heavy duty work, but not for show.

If it is a classic truck being used for light work, I would make the bed fairly perfect, spray in a colored liner, then drop in a drop in liner to protect the spray in liner and to prevent rips and tears. You should put weep/drainage holes at the front of the bed so water under the liner can escape.

Spray-in

Line-X dealer:

Maybe you should consider a spray-in that meets your needs. Line-X offers a liner that will hold up to commercial use, looks good, and can now be color coded with a Dupont Kevlar paint for premium looks.

Good Luck!
