go to fleetfilter.com, buy a WIX 46637 air filter. it is HUGE.

it will allow the engine to breathe in air easier, it will make the turbo whine some. also, for faster spool-up of the turbo, plus some higher peak PSI numbers, unplug the red line before the elbow, that leads to the wastegate. it is a pressure line that will enable the wastegate to open. unplug it when the truck is off, to be sure the wastegate is open. this will force all the gasses through the vanes, instead of peeling some out around the shroud.

you can see in the pic above, the red line that im talking about. it runs parallel to "GARRETT" that is stamped on the turbo outlet. follow the line to where you see the small weed-eater fuel filter. there will be a 90* elbow that connects the wastegate to that little red line. pull the red line out of the elbow. there, its disabled. you dont NEED the filter there, i just put it there in case the waster need to blow, it wouldnt allow unfiltered air back in if it happened to cause a momentary vaccuum.
