I was pulling my boat last weekend and when I went to pass the truck wouldn't pick up speed and started jumping. It only happens when I would punch it. Everything is stock and it is an 04 f150 sc with the 5.4 3v. Any solutions?
Cory, I would try over on the appropriate forum. This is the 6.0 Power Stroke Forum. There's alot of info and folks who are real smart about specific trucks if you look in the appropriate forums. Welcome to FTE, Tim

Hey cory funny you should say, my truck sometimes has been doing that off some red lights. Today when I first turned the key it made a loud noise like someone hit the hood with a baseball bat. REAAAAL weird. I don't know what it might have been but then the other night I turned on the truck and the engine failed once. Brand new at 1288 miles. What the hell. Hasn't done it since, maybe I didn't turn the key fast enough.
