Still Running Rough, SOMETIMES!
The Service Engine Soon light has been on in my 2001 F-250 for a while now. The truck seems to stutter at low rpms in high gears. This seems to be from the transmission area, maybe the torque converter!? Anyway, the light has went off in the past but has eventually came back on. This weekend it went off and has only come back on once for about 5 seconds. Is there some type sensor in this area that could be going bad? Maybe some wires I need to check? Any advice would be appreciated, except taking it to a mechanic, as this is about to cause me to pull all of my hair off my body. Thanks.
