white faced gauges
I have a 99 F-250 SD 4X4 w/V-10. I also bought the white face gauges. The speedo needle would work for a while and then it would start catching the new white face. The face would bubble around the needle. I live in FL and the truck gets over 140 degrees inside. i was thinking that was the problem. I bet I have had the dash apart 6 times. I think I fixed the problem thou. I found a glue stick. Not as perm as superglue. Placed the glue with a Q tip under the areas that would bubble. That and I jammed it under the gear shift plate. It seems to work now. I have a handheld GPS, so I bought a holder to mount it so I could keep tabs on my speed as I havn't been able to trust the gauge. I like the new face but I was getting very close to pulling out. It's been a few weeks and it still works. Try that and see if it help, I don't think I would go with superglue thou.
Good luck, let me know how it works out,,,,Bob
