Finished my EZ wiring today, added gas and battery, and it fired right away, after a couple of years of working ( off and on) it was a beautiful sound! Could not resist a quick spin around the block! Everything seemed to work as it was meant to. A long way to go but, I,m a little more motivatred again. I took a few pictures and tried to create a gallery-hope it worked. I have more luck with a wrench than a camera!
Great, Looks good! Saw some of the photo's. How did the EZ wiring go for your and can you say who you pruchased it from? Best wishes for that day when it is finished! Monte
Thanks for the words of support, That's what the forum is about! - Monte my EZ wiring kit was bought from a supplier in Canada as I hang my hat in Saskatchewan. I thought the kit was straight forward, and had no problems with the wiring, at first thought the directions were a little lacking, but after reading several times before I started, it fell into place quickly, as the wires are clearly marked. The only change I made was substituting the fusible link supplied in the kit for a 60 amp maxi fuse mounted on the firewall. Used Dolphin guages and they installed well.
That is awesome!! I know how it feels to actually sit behind the wheel and have the truck move under its own power!!
You have a gorgeous truck!! Nice job on it!
I'll probably be using the wiring harness on my 49, glad to hear that it works well
