cab dome light
hi gang, I just bought a 97 ford ranger 3.liter. When i got it home i noticed the cab dome light wasn't working, i took off the cover, no bulb, easy fix, got a new bulb and now it works, as a matter of fact it won't go out most of the time. open and close the doors has no effect, start the truck and it still stays on. now i know why there was no bulb in it. I like having a dome light but i don't want to run the battery down, any ideas on how to fix it???

Very common problem on Rangers. The dome light switches are located on the door latch assembly in the doors. Most of the time, spraying the latch liberaly with WD-40, then open & close the door several times will free these
