Both turn signals have suddenly quit working; left and right, front and back. Hazard flashers work; left and right, front and back. When I hit the turn signal either direction, nothing. If I have the brake pedal down, brake lights come on until I hit the turn signal (turn left, left light goes out, right stays on; turn right, right light goes out, left stays on).
Checked fuses, no problem. Flasher works fine with hazards on. When I hit the turn signal, I can hear the flasher click once, no light, nothing else.
I would double check the flasher. Remember, you have two flashers. One for the hazard lights, and one for the turnsignals. I don't know if they will interchange or not. Sometimes people have a hard time finding both, and sometimes they can be found on the backside of the fusebox. The turnsignal switch is famous for going out on these trucks, but I would check and replace the flasher first. When you find it, if it won't interchange, you could unplug it, and jump the plug if it's a two wire type. The lights won't flash, but they will come on solid and this can be a little test to make sure it is the problem.
