78 tilt into 77

78 tilt into 77
I heard that there maybe some wiring that has to be changed when you put a 78/79 tilt column into a 77.Is this true, if so what has to be redone,or is this just a straight plug in and go.Any help would be great.

All I can tell you is 1976-78 have the same diagram, and 1979 has a different diagram. And there is no mention of tilt being different. So I would think electrically it should be the same. Do you see any obvious problems with the plugs?
