Hey Guys, my first post. About a month ago I got my first Ranger. It's a 2003 super cab FX4 with 40,000 miles on it. I've always had full size trucks, but test drove a Ranger one day and loved the power and how much it felt like a big truck but in the smaller package.
Well, to my question. I'm looking to get a set of new tires. I want something bigger then stock, under $150, look good, and do well on the road and in snow. I dont really care about noise (with in reason) but I do want them to last a long time. I was looking at the M/T Baja Radial MTX, but couldnt find many reviews on them. So, does anybody have a set of these or know somebody that does. Also, I wanted to get the 265/75R16. Will these fit on my stock truck with out rubbing or major mods (I'll trim the flare a little, but I wont cut them out)? Lastly, I heard about doing something with the tie rods to make bigger tires fit, what is with that? Thank you very much.
