New Shocks?

I have a '03 Supercrew with 51,000 miles on it, and I noticed that the ride seems to be a bit more rougher than it used to be. How long do you guys think the factory shocks should last before they need replaced? I haven't been doing any serious four wheelin or anything with it.

I would think between 30000 and 50000 miles would be a good time to change them. Most people dont realize their shocks are gone cause they wear into the ride of the vehicle.
