You don't need a 460! All kidding aside, one good looking ride. I have the same paint scheme on my '77 Shortbed 4x4 only in tan and dark cinnimon metalic.
Whether you did the painting or had it done it sure looks like it just left the dealership......At least you didn't go and put a set of tires on it that required a step ladder to get up to the cab----and basically no 8 inch lift----it looks like a truck is supposed too!!!!!!fd
Nice truck ! I also own a "77. Check mine out if you wish. How much did you pay for the new paint? It looks very good. I will be getting a re-paint soon. Did you have much body work needed?
Well the paint job was an adventure. Modern paints are a real marvel but they don't come real cheap. I only paid $2,800 for mine but I R&R'd all the chrome and fixed a few minor dings. They kept the truck for a month and kept compaining about estimating it too low. When I went in to check on it they were ghost coating and block sanding it. A little more work than the normal paint job. They also killed my battery while they had it.
Also watch out for the paint code. They original green on my truck was called light jade metallic I beleive but the name we used this time was polygreen. It's exactly the right color. Go figure?
Kevin , Have you looked into possibly adding a lockup torque converter to your c6 when it comes time for a redo-----I've asked several people but nobody seems to know for sure---it would be interesting to see how many rpm's your tach would drop(no slippage) with a lockup torque converter...........fd,beautiful 77 f350---
That is one nice truck!!!! I love the color combo too!!!! When you add more pictures could you do some of your interior as well??
Aren't those later model factory rims on there?? That paint Dark Jade Metallic, is a real pretty Green, thats what color my '78 Supercab is,I understand its VERY VERY close or exact to the Mayflower van lines Green color, if you can believe that.
