I have a transfer case from a 83 full size Bronco that originally had a manual transmission and 302 in front of it. Will this transmission work with a C4 automatic?

 

You mean will the t-case work with a C4? The only C4 4x4 trans I know of was in the 66 to 77 broncos and they had D20 t-cases behind them. I don't think tis is a direct swap but it's been a while since I have followed the early broncos. Now if you ask will it bolt right up to a 2 wheel drive C4 trans then the answer is no it will not. Try advance Adapters and see if they have anything that will allow you to adapt the two together.

 

I would look for a 4X4 C-6 to install instead of the light duty C-4. The C-6 should be fairly easy to find as it would have been common in the broncos and F-series. Good Luck
