Aftermarket grills?

I see a lot of SuperDuty trucks with aftermarket frontend grills. Some look pretty great. Do they help airflow into the engine compartment in any way or serve another function other than enhancing the truck's looks?

Thanks for any help.

Dan

Me? I'm still waiting for ALL you guys to get those nifty custom grills. That way (eventually), my factory grill will be the unique one.

Nice grill! What brand is that? Is it a bolt on over the stock grill piece or a total grill replacement? Chromed plastic or billet aluminum?

Thanks!

I think it is a T rex grill, they cut out the factory one. I was told not to do the lay overs as it looks cheap. I am real happy the way it turned out, and yes it is billett.

I've seen those 2005 grills on ebay for around $70. My neighbor bought one and it looks great. Nice set of mud flaps....

I put a Lund Grill cover on mainly to act as a bugscreen. It is Black Lexan Glass full of small holes. I like it better than the grey honeycomb.
