2000 F150 won't start. When I turn the key and nothing happens but a click in the battery saver relay. Solenoid would seem to be the answer but there are several thing that are suspect.
1. There is power to everything minus the radio (and starter of course).
2. I've got two nearly identical sets of keys, my Ford truck and my wifes Ford car. The exact same day that it broke, I had it in a tire shop for wheel balancing and etc. Is it possible that einstein the mechanics helper tried to force the wrong key and somehow damage the ignition switch?
Well my truck got towed to the dealership and will be worked on Monday since I'm scared to touch anything electrical on the beast. Until then just would like to know what I'm up against. Any guesses? I'll let you know what it is early next week.

Welcome to FTE. Many answers to many questions. As for yours, it really doesn't matter if your having the dealer fix it. Could be simple as a blown fuse. Let us know
