Replace Headlight- dash lights start to work- then stop
I put a new headlight in the F-250 yesterday, and when I took her out for a drive the dash lights came on, well half of them did (this was the first time since I owned the truck that they worked at all). I drove aabout twenty minutes and went it to a bar to have a drink. When i left the lights were back out. Gotta love a fickle ford.
I know what you guys will say, "clean your connections" "check your switch" "pull the dash" etc but I just wanted to pass along my frustration

rus i had a deal like that with the dash lights. the plastic part that the instruments fit to becomes real brittle. this i found contributes to a dark panel or a partial panel. ford still services the back panel and its fairly cheap unlike the grid that attaches to it. nothin' finer that a fickle ford!
