I've got a 98 250 diesel that ive been havin quite a few problems with lately. i just replaced the starter ,fuel pump, glow plugs, GP relay, O-ring kit on all injectors, a few fuel rails that were leaking, and lots of washers inside the rails that were bad. after all that it ran real good for about 4 days then the truck died realized i had a leak in the back tank and ran out of diesel (the gauges are workin good so i didnt realize) reprimed the engine and it fired up great, it ran great again for about half a week then wouldnt start. its turnin over good and gettin fuel from the fuel filter down to the injecter pump but then thats it cant get any fuel out of the injector lines. put a gas rag on it and it fired up but once the rag was gone it died so it doesnt sound like its air. Just curious what yall all think, might be the FSS on the injector pump? its clickin but not all that good sometimes. Thanks for any help need the thing runnin soon

I think its a miss print dave ......
the fuel shut off is inside the injection pump and you can hear it clicking while working the key off/on.
i am trying to get a handle on the fuel rails ... must be the return line system (?) Try checking the fuse for the ignition before you rip things apart.
if the injection pump is turning on and you have loosened some injection lines at the injectors, you will have lots of fuel in short time.
hope this helps.
Sorry it was a mis print its a 89 ford 250. ill check the fuse before ripping into the pump. thanks for the help it seems to be narrowed down to the FS solenoid or the injector pump
ill try it out thanks again
