Removing bed from '66 F250

How difficult is it to slide the box on a '66 F250 back about a foot to clean out rocks jammed between the bed and cab?

A clumsy front-end loader-operator poured a yard and a half of gravel into my bed, and aimed a good stream right into the space between the box and cab. It now makes the most HORRIBLE screetching and crunching noises when I drive and the frame flexes. I have to get the rocks out, and moving the bed back is the only way.

What is involved?

If the bed has been replaced at some point and fasteners are new, should be easy to undo and all that....If untouched and clean(like a Ca truck) then should be doable...if all rusted and all...torching is the only way...was how I did my 65's box years ago...
My 66, which btw, is still for sale, had the same issue, not bad, but big rocks and the crunching and all that....I got under the truck a couple of weeks ago to clear them out..I ended up using a tire iron to spread the metal for them to drop....if you got a nice bed and cab, I wouldnt do this...but this is a work truck/project....got 'em all and grinding is gone...
As for undoing the bed and sliding....drop the spare from under the rear to get at the rear 4 botls(2 are the pan head type bolts you see in bed floor...Rear two I think are 5/8 or 11/16....one other thing...depending on how far you slide it to the rear....unplug the tail lights from the main harness on LH frame rail at the rear....That and a second pair of hands to help slide it will make life easier...especially on your body...
