Has anyone had to change out their VSM recently? If so where would I find it on a 2002 F-250 PSD? Having some issues and have been instructed it could be the GEM or the VSM. Don't you just love all the acronyms!!!
From what I can tell, the GEM on my 01 and the VSM on your 02 are the same thing. If that is the case then it is attached to the back of your central (in cab) junction box. Remove the four bolts holding the fuse block in place to access the connector to the module. It's been said on this board that resetting it by unplugging it can cure many an electrical malady. I think it would be worth a shot before droppng the cash on a new one.

Thanks Cookie88 I'll try that tonight. Keep your fingers crossed!!! I try to be optomistic but... I just know this is going to cost me and I need to get this fixed before next week. Have a HOG rally to attend and we are taking 4 bikes and the truck pulling a camper down.
