Yeah right...I thought it was gonna work that way! When I was your age (don't you love it when old folks say that to you?!) I looked about 15 unless I grew the mustache...then I looked about 17! By 30 I still looked like a teenager (no wonder nobody ever took me seriuosly!)
But now, it's all caught up to me at last. With or without the mustache, I still look my age, or older. (Sigh) Life just ain't fair...!
Yeah, if they could only make me taller, thinner, handsome, and wealthy! I'm tired of lookin' like this:
Well, you know Dan I do believe that nightly mud pack is beginning to work. I can see some improvement. Yes in deed! Say, did you get those new teeth yet?
I still can't grow a beard ... so for now I kind of alternate between cleanshaven and stubble. Stubble is all I can grow before it starts looking like a really thin high-school mustache.
Betcha when you hit your mid twentys, you'll grow a beard that wolfman would be proud of.
True. When I started sprouting whiskers at twelve they were just ugly looking straglers but when I started shaving that year the whiskers came in like a National Forest. By the time I was fourteen I looked like Lon Chaney . For some guys it happens later.
I stay clean shaven, have the same issue as Kooper. I'll be 23 in 4 months and it still looks all white trashy/ joe dirt if it starts to grow. The good news about is, I don't like having any kind of facial hair anyway.
When I don't shave it's thick, and it grows in super fast. If I go one day without shaving, I'll have very visible stubble. And the hairs are even thick! Very course..
For years before I got married, maybe a month before, I had the classic 70's **** star stache. I got tired of it, shaved it off, and missed a spot under my lip.
So now, I've got a little soul patch, with about 3 days worth of stubble. I've tried growing goatees before, but there's a gap between the top and bottom, and it looks pretty stupid on me that way. And I just can't imagine going back to the moustache I had before. What I've got is good for my current look anyway. Not intimidating looking, but it still has the "I party hard" look to it.
