Turbocharging my vehicle.

I've read some people get Turbo's out of diesels and install them into their rig. So, maybe I can go on eBay and buy a turbo that wasnt necessarily made for my truck?

Yes, you can buy a turbo of an old diesel vehicle and use it on a petrol vehicle. Fundamentally they are the same, just two turbines joined by a common shaft.

I built my own turbo set-up for my Acura. It is very doable but a great deal of thought and planning go into this type of modification. Not to mention the fabrication as well. I would recommend a lot of research first as this is not a weekend project...
