Poly bushings

I plan on rebuilding the front Susp. on my truck and was wondering if the poly bushings make a difference.

Poly bushings

I have them all around and they seem to tighten things up nicely.

I also have the body mount set butt haven't put them in yet. Any one done that?

Poly bushings

I tried them for a while and found they would hammer out. Got less than six months out of the polly bushings. The stock type rubber bushings will last a lot longer as they can smash down and rebound back. The polly bushing will wear quickly. Went to ford and saved money. After all the first set went ten years. I am running a 79 F150 XLT 4X4 short box with a 400 AT. Bought it new in 79 and have went from stock to 6" lift then back to stock. Still running 35x15" tires & wheels.
