Integrated Brake Controller

Does anyone know if there is a retro-fit kit for the 05 Brake Controller? I'm so tired of having to block my fiver's wheels when moving my slider hitch because the controller doesn't activate under 15 mph.

Not sure what a "retro-fit kit" is, but you can add an aftermarket controller to a truck with the integrated controller... if that's what you're asking.

Are you saying the IBC will not allow you to manually apply the brakes to the trailer under 15mph??

I still want to keep my IBC but I want it to work under 15mph like the later model 05's and the 06's.

From what I've read here you will probably have to buy the "upgraded" version that's in late 05 and 06 models. A guy in an earlier thread tried to get it swapped at his service dept but I think it was a no-go. Not certain what he did in the end. Your service rep might be able to get a swap for you. Yah never know.
