Stainless Grille inserts

Can anyone post pics of the grille inserts that you are running on a 99-04 F250 or F350. I like the ones from Cablelas but I want to see what everyone else is running before I buy one.

I really do not want to replace the grille since they are expensive & you have to modify the factory grille to make them work.

I did a search under ( Grille ) - no matches.
I searched under ( Grille inserts ) - no matches.
I searched under ( Billet grille ) - no matches.
I now am asking you guys for the help.

I have the Stull Industries Beefy Billet Vertical grill and side inserts on my 2002 F-250. Picture in my gallery. Easy install. I've had it about 2 years now and no rust. It is an overlay, so the only thing I had to remove from the front grill was the FORD blue oval emblem.

Four years ago I put the Putco Virtual grill on the 99 F250 and they look as good now as they did then. At the time the main grill insert was insert was installed as well as the bumper insert. Last year to finsish off the grill the side inserts were installed and they grill looks really nice now.

If you do a google search you will find tons of places that sell this grill or any grill insert for that matter. Shop around to beat Cebales's price. One place wanted $100 shipped for the two small side inserts, found a place who sold them for $35 shipped, big price difference! Ford also sells the same grill but suspect they will charge the most.

Keep in mind also that there are three types of bumper inserts all are different widths to work with the tow hooks and fog lights. If you have the fog lights you'll need the shortest one, for the 4x4 with tow hooks the middle one and if you have neither the tow hooks or fog lights the widest one will work and look the best since it matches the width of the grill more.

I've had mine since 1999 when I had my first Super Duty so I can't remember where I got it or how much I paid. It still looks like it did the day I bought it. The link below has a really good price for it, comes with the side vent inserts as well, usually they are separate. Now a days, you can get them just about anyplace, back when I got mine that wasn't the case. Just do a search on google (Putco Virtual Grill) and take your pick.

Thanks, of all the grills that are available these days, I think this particular grill is still one of the nicest on the market. Best thing about it though is that installation requires zero modifications, unlike a lot of the others. The headlights are from the '02 model year I believe and the clear corner markers are from APC.

JC Whit had a great price on the Putco. All three pieces around 169.00 I think. I bought mine from Putco before JC Whit stock them and I think I paid close to $200. Easy to install and made from SS some it won't rust.

I just searched on JC Whit and they don't have the putco grill for Ford.
Autoanything has it for $130.

The print catalog I have has a part # of AJQ494879W For 99-04 Super Duty 3pc kit w horizontal side vents $169.95. Plus take 10% order over $80. So that makes it 152.96. Discount code is AJTT438.

I plugged the part # in and it came up. Strange, it says:
"Matching bumper and side vent inserts sold separately. Includes hardware and instructions."
Then below that it says:
"Stainless Steel Grille Insert Includes Side Vent Pieces"
So, wonder which way it is? What's the diff between vent inserts and vent pieces?

Man, that Putco grill sure does look good...I don't think it would look too good without the clear headlights though..
