As is pointed out in the thread, a truck is heavier than a Mustang and is designed to use its power in a lower RPM range than the 'Stang. It has a different design intake that helps produce more low RPM torque, and a different cam. You have to be very careful in selecting what parts to use or you could screw up the driveabilty.
Will aftermarket parts for a 5.0 EFI from a Mustang fit my 5.0 EFI in my F150???

As tigerdan said a 5.0 is 5.0 so you don't have to worry to much about the parts fitting the motor, instead you have to worry about the parts fitting in the truck.
