stang gets trophy on third try
well, here is the trophy winner after only three shows it has its first trophy. it is so nice to have a car like this after rebuilding for 2 1/2 years and never getting a mention I got this one it is all original and gets the trophy on the third try.Go figure huh? the coupe is almost perfect and this is right out of the box. John

Maybe thats what it is the other one with 2 1/2 years and $6000 invested is a coupe this one is a $4500 convertible and it gets the trophy. the opal frost 67 coupe is every bit as nice as the vert maybe even a little nicer but got nothing. John

Nice going John! Smooth. It is a bit of a kicker that the one you put all of the sweat into comes up dry. I agree with the above post about convert's. It could be possible that the "rag top" feature may have been a part player. Reguardless, it is nice to come home with a trophy. Jake.

They are both very nice John. However given that you have put so much time and effort into the coupe, it's really a shame it never brought home a trophy.

Hi everyone, I and the wife have decided to keep the coupe since I was going to rebuild another 67 coupe for my oldest son we will just give him this one and part out the one we had for him. We have another show to go to this weekend. It is at storybook land it's a kids park but we have gone every year since we started running the coupe we get four tickets to get in we have to show the car for five hours. this will be the fourth show for the vert in as many weeks. there is no judgeing at this one just a dash plaque and 149 other sweet cars. I still haven't done anything with the 40 but it is getting closer especially since I don't have to rebuild another mustang this summer. John

My '82 F-150 got a trophy at its first show last night. Of course, I'm thinkin the category was a SLIGHT bit different in my case
