I'm trying to fix my 1999 F-250 Ex-Cab Diesel 2wd.
When I turn on my truck and wait about 50sec. There is a series of 25 beeps coming from a buzzer. It's 5 beeps 5 times with a 2 second delay between series.
I have unplugged fuses one at a time and have realized that it is fuse # 22 that is causing the sound and I dont know how to fix it or what part to replace.
That would be the fuel heater element. You can unplug the element on the right side of the fuel filter housing. Open the filter housing and trace the wire to the right plug, there are 2 plugs there. I believe it is the top one. These things are bad to short out and blow the fuse.
