well i finally have a diagnosis on my M50D... looks like first gear synchro/stop ring is at fault. i am to the point to pull it out,and put an C6 or AOD automatic trans in it's place. what would i need to accomplish this?
i'd keep the M50D, but i don't like the incredibly low first gear it has, plus the hydraulic clutch system.
as of now,plans on hold, thuck was hit broadside in the right rear bed corner,$1800 damage. since that was the purchase price of the truck, it may be totalled out. we'll see what happens next
